Self-Compassion

Self-compassion means being kind and understanding towards ourselves during difficult times. When we are stressed out, it is easy to be hard on ourselves and criticize ourselves for not being able to handle everything that is going on.



However, this often only makes things worse. By practicing self-compassion we allow ourselves to be gentle and understanding towards ourselves, no matter what is going on in our lives. This can help us feel more supported and relaxed during stressful times. If you find it difficult to be kind and understanding towards yourself, try writing down five things that you like about yourself or forgiving yourself for something that you have done wrong . Self-compassion is key when trying to manage stress!
