Spiritual Warfare.

Hi! How are you? 

I hope you are well!

As we go about our daily lives, sometimes it’s easy to forget that we are in a spiritual war. But when we read Scriptures like Ephesians 6:10-11, we are reminded to dress appropriately for battle.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11

As you perform your daily tasks, here is my prayer for you today:

Lord, thank you that we are strong in your mighty power through the Holy Spirit! Help us to put on the full Armor of God, and to gird ourselves in the light of your love. Thank you that we are clothed with your strength and splendor. Help us to use our weapon of spiritual warfare–the Word of God, and to take our stand against the devil's schemes. 

We will no longer be tossed back and forth in our minds like the waves of the sea, but will stand firm and not give in to the lies of the enemy. Thank you that we can strengthen ourselves daily in the power of your Word. If you are for us, nothing can be against us!

 Guide us in your wisdom, power and strength today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
